NOTHING IS LEFT UNDONE

My cousin got married last Saturday. It was a beautiful wedding and a perfect day!

During a conversation with my nephew, I explained him that Taoism actually gives you a very relax view of life, because of pursuing statements like 'taking things as they come' and 'acting without intention'. Afterwards, he asked me "how is it possible to achieve your dreams without having to push yourself to do things sometimes?". The following which I encountered today answers it completely.

Quotes like 'Dreams don't work unless you do' and 'good things come to people who work their asses off and never give up' are quite popular among fashion bloggers. There is nothing wrong with working hard for things you want to achieve in life, but these quotes might suggest that working hard is a must in life. And I feel like girls are assuming and pursuing this idea. I think the pursuance of these motto's might cause compulsive and obsessive behaviour, which will lead to unbalance, perhaps with a lot of stress; a lifestyle which can not be healthy. Furthermore might it result in big disappointments..
